"Marya is the best! She clearly knows the human body and can find all of the tension that it carries. I'm a fan of really deep pressure, and she delivers, while still knowing when to release. Add to that the convenience of her coming to your home, and the fact that she is a nice person who listens. I highly recommend her for all massage therapy needs." -M.N.

Prenatal Massage

Our prenatal massage uses a combination of calming Swedish massage, deep tissue work, gentle range of motion and stretching, lymph drainage, reflexology and abdominal massage.  Each prenatal massage is completely customized to what the mother needs or wants during each session as we recognize the body is continually changing throughout pregnancy. Our pregnancy massage therapists are trained in precautions/contraindications, and will refer to the mother’s healthcare provider when necessary.

"Marya's prenatal massage was the most relaxed I felt during the entire pregnancy-- so much so that I fell asleep on the table! Marya not only relieved the tension in my back and hips from pregnancy sciatica but showed me some stretches and exercises to prepare my pelvis for labor and delivery." S.B.

Postpartum Massage

Massage in the postpartum period helps return the body into its pre-pregnancy joint alignment and fluid balance. A massage within the first week (or several weeks) of postpartum feels wonderful. It flushes lactic acid out of the tissues relieving sore and achy muscles. Massage helps release shoulder, neck, and arm tension from the care and feeding of an infant and helps relieve tension from the birth process.

"Marya was indispensable in my postpartum recovery! I booked a two-hour massage with her, one a week after giving birth, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made to take care of myself in this critical and sensitive time. As others have said, she truly has a healing touch, not to mention gives an amazing massage. I can’t wait to book with her again. Her rates are reasonable, she responds promptly, and what is better than an at home massage? Thank you again, Marya!" J.B.

Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is the body's natural way of eliminating cellular build-up and waste. Lymphatic Drainage is a full body massage that uses a combination of gentle rhythmic and pumping strokes to encourage the natural drainage of the lymphatic system. The massage includes the use of castor oil packs to cleanse and strengthen the lymph nodes located in the abdomen as well as the digestive system.

"Marya is absolutely amazing! I had a lymphatic massage for 90 minutes and I did not want it to end. Not only does she have a natural gift and a healing touch but I loved how much she cared to ask questions and offer explanations and suggestions for how to work with my issues myself." L.C.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet or hands. The theory behind reflexology states that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that applying pressure to the points has a beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health. Each reflexology session can be customized and performed in a stand-alone session (fully clothed) or following a massage therapy session.  Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, millions of people around the world use it to complement other treatments when addressing specific conditions.

“A healer's power stems not from any special ability, but from maintaining the courage and awareness to embody and express the universal healing power that every human being naturally possesses.” -Eric Micha'el Leventhal

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a laying-on of hands natural healing technique thought to be thousands of years old. Originating in Tibet, it was rediscovered in Japan in the late 1800’s by Dr. Mikao Usui. It is a very simple yet powerful healing art. Practitioners channel universal life force in a particular pattern to bring forth healing and harmony.
